My story

Hi, I’m Yeondu! 🐾 I’m a 2-year-and-6-month-old male Jindo mix, weighing about 16kg — a perfect size for cuddles, walks, and just being your loyal companion. For nearly two years, I lived behind cold shelter bars, barely feeling the sun or touching real ground. I was even placed on the euthanasia list… but I got a second chance. I was rescued just in time, and for the very first time, I stepped outside into the world, ready to begin a brand new life. And now, I’m looking for the heart and home where my story truly begins — maybe with you? Despite everything I’ve been through, I absolutely love people. Truly. I’m friendly, affectionate, and gentle. I give the softest kisses (just ask the vet who couldn’t stop smiling after one of mine!). I’ve never had a problem with being touched, examined, or going on walks. I just want to be close to the humans I love. I’m calm and well-mannered on walks, and I know my basic commands like “sit” and “paw” — smart, right? 😊 I'm also really good with other dogs. I gently approach the little ones and playfully invite friends my size to hang out. But honestly… nothing makes me happier than being around people. When a trainer plays with me, I’ll even wrap my paws around their legs and beg for more playtime — just like a big, silly puppy. I’ve never had the chance to live in a home, so I’ll need your help with outdoor potty training. But don’t worry — I’m a quick learner and eager to please! With a regular routine and a little positive reinforcement, I’ll get the hang of it in no time. More than anything, I just want to be loved — to finally have a family, a home, and a warm place to rest beside someone who sees how special I am.
