My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $800   Meet the Baby Animal Puppies!       This adorable litter of four 12 week old sisters came to DPS after being surrendered from an accidental litter in a home. Mom was a Spaniel mix and dad was a mystery! Since arriving at their foster’s house at nine weeks old, they’ve blossomed into happy, playful, snuggly little personalities— each one with her own quirks and charms. They’re smart, sweet, and already showing how eager they are to learn and love.       Their daily routine is more or less eat-potty break-snooze-play, and repeat! They are free-fed kibble and sleep together in a pen all snuggled up.       Tadpole – Tadpole is our most independent and easygoing girl. She’s happy to wrestle with her sisters or entertain herself with a toy, and when playtime is over, she’s equally content to curl up for a snuggle. She’s super smart and already getting the hang of “sit.” A quiet pup, Tadpole brings the perfect mix of chill vibes and silly night-time zoomies.       Chick – Don’t let her size fool you— Chick may be the tiniest, but she’s full of personality. She started out shy and docile, but her playful side is now shining through. She’s a wrestling champ with her sisters and loves curling up on the couch or getting any kind of attention and affection. Quick to learn “sit” and great with pee pads, Chick is both smart and sweet, with a face that will melt your heart.       Duckling – Duckling is the goofball of the group! She loves people most of all and will shower you with kisses and hugs the moment she sees you. Always on-the-move, she’s hard to catch for a photo because she’s too busy initiating play sessions or zoomies with her sisters. She’s a smart cookie, but at the end of the day, this snuggle bug is happiest in your arms.       Owlet – Owlet stands out with her pretty upright ears and bright eyes. She’s a smarty pants who, like Chick, learned “sit” in just one day! Energetic and playful, Owlet loves fetch, new toys, and all the snuggles she can get. She’s great with pee pads, sleeps well at night, and is always eager to please.       The Baby Animal Puppies are playful, cuddly, and oh-so-smart— already learning their basics and charming everyone they meet. Whether you’re looking for a feisty cuddle bug, a tiny sweetheart, or a laid-back snuggler, one of these little ones is sure to steal your heart.September 21, 2025, 4:44 pm
