My story

This handsome boy is Boots! He arrived at the shelter on July 15 as a cruelty case which has now been resolved. He was extremely emaciated when he arrived. Boots has been nursed back to health and is now a great size, very friendly, and looking for a loving, forever home. We do know that Boots is not a fan of cats, so he'll need to be in a home without cats. Boots is an adult dog and weighs 46 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Boots is waiting patiently to meet you; his ID # is 11933. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
