Meet Lenny & Luna in Washington DC – A Bonded Pair of Family Dogs Looking for Their Forever Homes Lenny (5 years old) and Luna (7 years old) are two sweet Australian Shepherds who found themselves at the shelter through no fault of their own—their family’s circumstances changed, and now they’re hoping for a second chance. *** Lenny*** Lenny is a lively, playful five-year-old who’s full of joy and enthusiasm. He loves walks, trips to the dog park, and a good game of fetch—whether it’s in the yard or out on an adventure. After playtime, though, he’s just as happy to cuddle up by your side. Loyal to the core, Lenny is the kind of dog who will quickly become someone’s best friend. With plenty of life left to live, he’s eager to be part of an active and loving home. Lenny can be reactive toward young children, so a home with older or no children is a must. ***Luna*** Luna is seven years old and the perfect balance to her energetic brother. She’s the definition of a cuddle companion—a gentle, low-energy sweetheart who loves nothing more than lounging on the couch with her head in your lap or soaking up belly rubs. She still enjoys a walk or a little romp at the park, but she’s happiest keeping things calm. Luna is the nurturing soul of the pair, always keeping Lenny in line and bringing a sense of peace to the home. Together, Lenny and Luna make the perfect duo—playful and affectionate, loyal and loving. They’re both family-oriented dogs who thrive on companionship and kindness. Our adoption fee is $425 for adult Aussies. To adopt the bonded pair, we will waive one of the fees. There is a $20 microchip fee for each dog which includes registration and tranfer to their new furever family.
