My story

Hi, I'm Gladys! I'm a four(ish) year old tabby currently chilling with my foster in the vicinity of the North Wales PetSmart. I've heard a lot of people say I'm really special. Someone even called me the "fabulous fakest fake feral of all fake ferals." I'm not sure exactly what that means, but it probably has to do with the fact that I'd been living outside as a stray in a cat colony, ended up in a trap as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return effort, and wooed the typically-stoic folks at the SPCA with my beauty and charm. Everyone agreed that my perfection is being wasted outside, so here I am looking for a forever home! I'm still getting used to what it means to be indoors, and am still confused by those things my foster calls "toys", but I use the litter box perfectly (which is apparently a big deal), absolutely love eating (especially the crunchy stuff), and immediately run over to greet anyone who walks into the room. I can't get enough head scritches, and it makes me purr REALLY loud. When people aren't around, I like to nap in a sunny spot in the window or watch bird TV. I'm used to being around other cats, but am not sure yet what those things called "dogs" are. I think my foster is going to introduce me to one soon. If you're looking for a calm, sweet, and friendly girl with plenty of fluff and an impressive purr, that's me! You can see more of me on Instagram @rachelsbasementcats or go ahead and fill out an application right away. I'm worth it!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gladys, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
