My story

Say hello to adorable Mee ! This little cutie is ready for pre-adoption and can go home when he turns 2 months old. He loves to be held, cuddled & snuggled. His mom (Doe) is a Chihuahua mix and dad is a bit of a mystery - unknown. Mee will definitely be on the small side at under 20 lbs full grown. Like with any young puppy, be prepared for potty training, crate training & leash walk training, as this boy is a blank slate. He is a sponge and will soak up all you wish to teach him, but you must be prepared to be patient & consistent. We also reccommend puppy training courses with a professional trainer, if you feel overwhelmed. To meet this sweet boy, please put in your application ASAP, as this little scruffy face will be very popular. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
