MILDRED

My story

Mildred aka Millie is an estimated 7 y/o, sweet little chi. At first I didn`t think her tail worked but with time, a safe place to land, and dinnertime, turns out it does! She has opened up into a surprisingly confident little gal. It still takes a minute to get comfy with strangers (hands can be scary!) but she will eventually accept any lap that is offered. Millie`s favorite things include attention, a soft spot to nap, and dinner time (she gets fed twice a day but dinner is the best). She enjoys going outside and sniffing and seems to prefer a meander over a walk, but sometimes she can really get going! With some encouragement and training she could probably be a decent walking buddy. Though she does have little legs and some health concerns, so long walks are likely not ideal. She will very happily sit in her sling bag when we need to pick up the pace or she gets tired. She rides quietly and comfortably in her crate in the car. She could very happily be either your couch cuddle buddy or adventure sidekick (with the right tools).She had no problem with two dogs in the home much larger than her and is very dog neutral. Millie is doing well with potty training, she sometimes has an accident but with consistency and trust she has been having fewer and fewer accidents. She has been staying in my spare bedroom at night and when I go to work so she can be left alone during the day. Mille has been diagnosed with *insert medical info here*. This can be managed with *insert management strategies here.* We don`t expect this to affect her quality of life, she still has plenty of good years left!
