My story

This most adorable boy that we call Robbie, is one of the most uniquely handsome Yorkie/Mini Aussie mix dogs that you will ever find. He is approximately 2 years old and only weighs 6 pounds and should probably be 8 pounds ultimately.  He was just  pulled from a horrible breeder situation where he lived amongst 200 dogs in a small home with a very senior couple.  Conditions were unspeakable. Yet, this special blue eyed boy is just so sweet and cuddly and you can see in his eyes that he is so grateful that we took him from the hell he had been living in.  Of course he was matted, and smelly, and needed grooming.   He received a warm bath, the grooming he badly needed and look what emerged!   A gorgeous Dappled Yorkie/Mini Aussie boy that  loves to sit on your lap, cuddle with you as you tell him how safe he is now and how much you love him.  He is slowly becoming more playful and it is miraculous how quickly he has shaken off the emotionally dark past and is looking at the bright side of his new life. This little sweetheart is almost perfect on a leash and he is almost 100% potty trained in just 3 days.  He is crate trained (he spent too much time in one at the former hoarding home) and he is wonderful with other dogs and open to new people becoming his friends.   He doesn't cower like a lot of the other dogs from that breeder are doing right now.  He shook the fear off and emerged ready to be your new BFF and lap dog.  He would be great in a home as an only dog or with another dog who is ready to be a welcoming mentor.  Walk Our little Red Robbie down the street and you will know 10 new people by the walk.  You will be stopped everywhere you go!   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  He is ready NOW to be someone's tenderhearted bedtime buddy.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 19, 2025, 1:41 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt ROBBIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
