My story

Quick Facts•    Name: Mighty•    Age: Around 7 years old•    Gender: Male•    Spayed/Neutered: Yes•    Breed: Mixed•    Colour: Brown•    Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs•    Microchipped: Yes    My Rescue Story Hi there! My name is Mighty. I was rescued from one of the largest animal hoarding cases ever documented in Korea. My past was tough, but I don’t let it define me or take away my joyful spirit! Despite everything I’ve been through, I’ve blossomed into a resilient, loving pup who’s ready to start a brand-new chapter. Now that I’m safe and healed, I can’t wait to find my forever family who will give me the love and care I’ve always dreamed of. With my sweet personality and brave heart, I know I’ll bring so much joy and light into my new home.    My Health•    Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) •    I’ve been spayed and healthy overall.•    I was born with a genetic condition that caused my legs to be bent, and later I had surgery for a cruciate ligament tear to help correct it. Because of this, the muscles in my legs are a little weaker, but don’t worry—I get around just fine in my daily life! I walk, play, and enjoy my adventures like any other pup.   My PersonalityI got my name Mighty because, even though I may be small, I’m a brave little fighter who never let my past hardships take away my spirit. I pushed through tough times with courage, and now I’m ready to share my happy heart with the world. Everyone says I’m even cuter in person than in photos, and it’s true! I’m a sweet, affectionate boy who loves people and enjoys the company of other dogs too.   My Social Skills With People: I’m super friendly with people and love soaking up attention and pets from everyone I meet! Staff always compliment me on how well I handle new situations—even at the vet, I stayed calm and did such a great job during my checkups. I don’t mind being picked up, and I’ll often roll over to show my belly as a sweet sign of trust, sometimes even with people I just met. I truly love connecting with people and can’t wait to share my affectionate side with my forever family. With Dogs:  I love meeting new dog friends and having fun playtimes together! I usually get along best with dogs my size or smaller, and I’m always polite when it comes to sharing food—I don’t guard it from other pups. Sometimes high-energy or overly pushy dogs can be a bit too much for me, but I’m happiest around gentle, well-mannered friends who enjoy my easygoing company. With Cats:  I haven’t had much experience with cats yet, so my reaction is still a little unknown. That said, when I do spot a cat during walks, I get curious and take a quick peek—but I quickly lose interest and happily continue exploring. With careful introductions, I may do well in a home with a cat-savvy feline friend!   Energy & Activities I have a moderate energy level—I’m the best of both worlds! I enjoy getting outside for some fun and fresh air, whether it’s a nice walk or a bit of playtime. But once we’re home, I’m more than happy to curl up beside you and be your cozy little shadow. I know when to be active and when it’s time to just relax and enjoy the quiet moments together.   Training & Habits I can get a little excited and pull on leash at the beginning of walks, but I usually follow my handler’s lead really well and settle down shortly after. I’m potty trained both indoors and outdoors, though I sometimes like to mark new environments. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and can do a little attention-barking to let you know when I want something. I’m polite around food and don’t guard it from people or other dogs.   My Ideal HomeI’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:•    A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment.•    A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors.•    A family that can shower me with love and attention.•    A family that is willing to guide me with patience and love for basic obedience training and leash walking. •    A family who understands that my legs are a little weaker due to my surgery and is willing to help me take it easy—like avoiding too much jumping or rough play—to keep me healthy and comfortable.   Special NotesI may have had a rough start in life, but my heart is full of love and I’m ready to find my forever family! I’m a sweet, gentle, and affectionate pup who adores both people and dog friends. My new family will be so lucky to have me—I’m even cuter in person! I do need a little extra care for my legs since they’re a bit weaker from surgery, but it doesn’t stop me from living my best, happy life every day.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Below!
