Meet Athena!At 5 years old and 57 lbs, Athena is a real-life potato—soft, squishy, and full of love. This gentle girl came to us with her sister after being left alone in an apartment for days, and she’s now looking for a second chance at the happy life she deserves.Athena may have a few healing spots on her body, but she’s otherwise in good health and at a great weight. She’s is not the best around other animals, calm on leash, and not a barker at all. Though she can take a minute to warm up, once she trusts you, she just wants hugs and cuddles. She’s very gentle taking treats and is comfortable being handled all over.If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who’s equal parts couch potato and cuddle buddy, Athena is ready to be your girl.
