My story

Here’s an update on the bestest boy – Primo – from his foster parent.While initially a little nervous coming into my home, in only about 20 minutes this guy was doing zoomies and sitting in my lap. He’s turned out to be such a sweet and loving pup and has blossomed so much since leaving the shelter. Some of his favorite things:-getting as close as possible to his people at all times – he’s a lap dog and WILL claim your lap! He loves cuddles, pets, scratches, and he gives many kisses. -stuffies! Primo loves to play with stuffies, and enjoys tug and keep away-he likes treats, and he takes them so, so gently! -he also really enjoys walks and being able to investigate the neighborhood!-this boy LOVES car rides, and will try to go for a ride any chance he can (although he does enjoy barking at every dog he sees :)) Things he’s good at:-he knows `come` really well, and is very good on a leash! He prefers to sniff the grass and whatever “pee mail” has been left in the neighborhood. -he has a lovely mix of energy - he’s very chill inside and lets me work, with bursts of playfulness. He’s always up for an adventure but is also content just being near you on the couch. He loves people watching on the balcony.-for a young dog, he has excellent house manners! He doesn’t get into anything he shouldn’t and minds his own business with non-doggy items, including things like plants Primo is the type of dog who will bond deeply with his human and provide a lifetime of love and loyalty!The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
