My story

Who can resist those baby blues ? Elmo's eyes are both mesmerizing & captivating, and we can only imagine what those eyes have seen. Elmo is such a good boy ! At 8-9 yrs old and 45 lbs, he has passed the zoomies & jumping & running around stages and is now at the couch potato, let's hang around & chill all day, stage. Fully house & crate trained, Elmo would love nothing more than to spend his senior years hanging out with you by your side all day long and going out for occasional strolls to get some fresh air. He gets along with all dogs - big & small, the cat & all people & kids. He loves meal time & his treats and will wait patiently in the kitchen while you are cooking, in hopes a crumb may fall. And if it doesn't, thats ok too. He is not a barker nor a beggar. He is just the bestest boy ! Apply to meet this fantastic pup & fall into his baby blues trance ! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
