My story

Meet Al At just six and a half months old, Al is already showing what a special dog he is. This pit bull mix puppy has a sweet, affectionate nature and a quiet shyness when first meeting new people. But once he feels safe, his playful, loyal personality shines through, and he quickly becomes the best kind of companion — a true sidekick and friend. Al loves to play tug of war, chase after toys, and run a few joyful zoomie laps around the yard before settling in for his favorite part of the day: snuggling. He’s happiest curled up on top of a pillow or pressed close beside his person, soaking up every bit of comfort and affection. Smart and eager to please, Al has been thriving with positive reinforcement training. He is fully potty trained, walks well on a leash, and is crate trained, though he prefers only short periods in his crate. He already knows several commands, including “sit,” “come,” and “take it nice,” and he’s excited to keep learning. Al enjoys the company of children and loves playing with other dogs. He would be happy in a home with a canine sibling, but he will also do well as the only dog, as long as he has an active yet laidback family to share his days with. The one thing he cannot live with is cats, but beyond that, he’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of cuddles to the right home. Al is still young, full of promise, and eager to find a family to grow up with. Could that be you? Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
