My story

HAS THE FINGERPRINTS OF ALLAH ON HIS BACK  DOB 6/2/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mako, a sweet, playful Turkish Van fella, which means that I’m mostly white with orange tabby on my head and tail with a few patches of orange on my torso. The Turks would say that these spots are the fingerprints of Allah. I guess you could say that I’m blessed because when my brother Bolin and I were about two months old, a Good Samaritan found us in the middle of some bushes on the edge of the bayou. Yikes! That’s dangerous! Our momma was nowhere in sight, but thank heavens (or should I say Allah?) that we were brought to the safe haven of our foster home. Our foster family nurtures and socializes us, but there are plenty of resident dogs of all sizes as well as cats who manage to teach us a lot of manners that Momma would’ve taught us if she’d been around. Because we survived our abandonment together, Bolin and I are very, very bonded. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I guess you’d say that we’re inseparable, and whenever we are apart, we seek each other out. Now I’m ready to bring my adorable good looks and kitten optimism to my forever family. Could that be you? Although we’re available separately, Bolin and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two is more fun than one, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! HOPE ID 25-0802-G183 Mako $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Mako will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
