My story

I’m a 1-year-old male Jindo mix, and while I may have had a rough start, I’m holding on to hope that my forever family is out there looking for me right now. I weigh around 10kg (22 lbs)—small but sturdy! People say my unique coat markings are beautiful, but I like to think my gentle heart is my best feature. I was rescued just in time from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia. Now I’m safe, and all I need is a loving home to call my own. I’m a quiet and calm pup, rarely barking, and I have a mild, gentle nature. When I meet new people, I might be a little cautious at first, but I warm up quickly. Once I trust you, I’ll come close with my tail wagging and heart open. I get along well with other dogs too and can stay calm and collected in a group. True to my Jindo roots, I tend to bond deeply with one person. If you’re my chosen human, I’ll follow you to the ends of the earth. I’m loyal like that—my heart is big, and I give it fully. I haven’t lived in a home before, so I’ll need a bit of guidance with things like potty training. But I’m smart and eager to learn! With a little structure and positive reinforcement—like gentle praise and yummy treats when I go in the right spot—I’ll pick things up quickly. Please don’t scold me if I make a mistake. Just quietly clean it up and help me learn. I promise I’m trying my best. I don’t have any serious behavior issues and I adapt well when you show me the ropes. I love walks and I’m already doing well on a leash! In new places, I might be a bit hesitant at first, so starting with short, slow walks near home is best. A double harness and leash will help keep me safe while I learn to trust the world around me. I do best with a calm, consistent routine. "Decompression walks" where I can sniff and explore at my own pace help me relax and feel safe. I’d love a home where my family understands the power of patience, positive training, and giving me time to settle in. So if you can give me that little bit of extra care during my first couple of weeks, keep me safe with good door control and leash handling, and help me burn off energy with play and exercise—you’ll see me blossom into the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. Are you the one I’ve been waiting for? I’m ready to give you all of my heart. 💛 With love, Roro 🐾
