He is diabetic and not eating well. He stressed in the shelter. I can't wait to be your new lap cat.Motown was in his den when assessor approached. He came out of his den immediately when the treat bag is shaken. He rubbed his head against assessor's hand, beginning to purr. He accepted pets along his entire body, leaning in. Motown is then picked up without issue. Once set back down, he continued to solicit attention.Please note that this cat is being treated for a medical condition at the time of evaluation. When given his insulin injections, Motown has been observed to swat. Motown interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
