My story

Meet Ali – Your Loyal Little Explorer!   Name: Ali Age: 5 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Terrier Mix Colour: Black & White Weight: 5.8 kg Height (to shoulder): 35 cm   Rescue Story   Ali was rescued from a city shelter back in 2022 when he was around 1–2 years old. Despite being safe, he spent 3 long years at a shelter without finding a forever home. He has now joined us to finally find a loving family overseas who will give him the life he deserves.   ‍‍‍ Sociability with People   Ali is affectionate and loves people — not just those he knows but even strangers! He happily leans in for pets and enjoys attention. While he does not like having his paws played with or his nails trimmed, he does well with handling otherwise. He is friendly with both men and women. When meeting children under 13, he simply sniffs them and moves along without issues. He can be picked up (even with arms under his belly) and will show his tummy even to people he has just met.   Sociability with Dogs   Ali is polite when greeting other dogs, but prefers exploring on his own rather than actively playing. He is not fearful of larger dogs and generally seems uninterested in dogs around him. If another dog shows aggression, Ali tends to walk away and avoid conflict.   Sociability with Cats   Ali has been around cats before and reacts just like he does with dogs — he sniffs and then goes about his own business.   Energy Level   Ali has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities but isn’t a runner or a jumper — he mostly sniffs, explores, and marks. After walks, he is calm and will happily relax indoors, lying down or even rolling over on his back.   ‍ Walks   Ali is an experienced walker. He does not pull on the leash and stays close to his human. He takes walks at a relaxed pace, stopping often to sniff.   Other Behaviour • No resource guarding toward people or dogs • No separation anxiety • Calm in a kennel (may bark briefly if he sees people nearby asking to come out) • Loves to sniff and mark in new places so that some marking may occur indoors at first • Currently potty trained for outdoor elimination   Ali is a gentle, easygoing little dog who loves quiet companionship, leisurely walks, and cozy nap times. After waiting so long, he’s ready to bring warmth and joy into a forever home. Interested in adopting Ali? Send in your application through our website!  let’s help him finally find his happily ever after! Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Currently in Korea – available for adoption overseas (Canada/USA) ##2519780##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ali, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
