My story

Crescent A17783454 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -This cutie will need some time and patience from her new people. She’s a little timid and unsure at first.-Once she’s comfortable she will jump up on your lap. She loves pets and attention.-I couldn’t get her to engage in toy play-She will sit for treats but didn’t take any of that I offered-She eventually laid on my lap and even slightly rolled over to expose her belly for rubs-When she is completely content she will give a tiny little kiss here and there-Walks nicely on leash-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
