My story

Are you looking for an affectionate, calmer companion? I just might be the one you want to meet! My human mom had to move and couldn't take me with her, so her caregiver contacted SCC and here I am! My foster mom says I am very sweet once I settle in and love to give head bumps. I also have the funny habit of growling while I'm eating but it's just a sound and I don't mean anything by it! I have medium length black hair and striking yellow/green eyes. I was an indoor/outdoor guy but always in at night and I really like being indoors where it's safe, especially at night! My foster mom doesn't know if I've been around dogs, other than those that might have barked at or chased me when I was outside, so she thinks I would rather have a home without them. However, I have been around other cats and even had a housemate, Patches, and we got along okay. The other outside cats didn't always like me and the feeling was mutual sometimes. I would love to be your furever companion if you have a quiet home for an upstanding, eight-year-old gent like myself. I have all my medical stuff done so I am ready to start a new life with you!
