My story

Candy’s name says it all — she is pure sweetness wrapped up in a beautiful shepherd mix. At just 1–2 years old and around 50–60 lbs, this gentle girl has already been through more than most. She was rescued from a very tough life on the reservation, where she did everything she could to protect her 10 precious puppies. Despite her hard past, Candy’s spirit never broke — her resilience and her smile can truly light up a room. Now safe, Candy is blossoming into the happy, loving, smart girl she was always meant to be. She adores other dogs and has such a kind, gentle way about her. She loves being part of a family, feeling safe, and sharing her endless affection with everyone she meets. Candy is ready to leave her past behind and step into her forever — one filled with love, security, and joy.
