Ruthenium (Ru)

My story

Ru is the Ruthenium of cats—rare, precious, and with a touch of mystery. (For those who don’t know, Ruthenium is a really rare, shiny metal—kinda like Ru, but with more purring and fewer periodic table appearances). This black-and-white charmer may not have the high value of a diamond, but he’s definitely got that “untouchable” vibe, like he knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. He’s the cat equivalent of that rare element you read about in science class and think, “That sounds like something I should pay attention to”—and trust us, you should. Ru may be a bit aloof at first, but don’t let that fool you. Once he warms up (and once you start providing snacks), this cat is all about those belly rubs. Sure, he might look like he’s too cool for you, but deep down he knows he’s a gem and wants nothing more than to curl up next to you and show off that soft belly. Ru is looking for a human who can appreciate his rare and radiant personality. If you’re into cats who look like they’ve just stepped out of a rock collection but also enjoy giving you that look (the one that says, “Yes, I am that fabulous”), Ru is ready to rock your world.
