My story

Clipper A17773085 lb. neutered male, approx 7 years old **SENIOR ALERT**-Older, distinguished gentleman who would LOVE to sleep somewhere more comfy at night!-He’s a calm, gentle boy but has been know to jump up for a hug or two 😉 -Walks nicely on leash and likes a leisurely stroll-He sits for treats and takes them nicely-Semi curious of toys but not currently engaging in play-He loves to be close for pets-He’s affectionate and gives kisses-Needs some TLC (he has some patchy hair on his legs and back and has a few warts as well) BUT….just look at this handsome boy!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
