My story

Meet Miss Raven an adorable, sweet and gentle girl. Raven is about 8 months old and came to us when people were walking and found her in a ditch. They dont know how long she was there but she was very dirty, dehydrated and extremely thin. They took her home and tried to find her owner. After the mandatory hold, they reached out and asked us to take her. Raven is incredibly smart and is learning her commands very quickly. She is extremely food motivated which makes her fun and easy to train. Raven loves other dogs and would enjoy a doggie companion that is similar to her size or larger. She is OK with small dog but a bit too over interested in them - so no small dogs in the home. She has a high prey drive so she is not recommended for a home with cats. Raven has medium energy, not crazy energy and will relax after a good romp with her doggie friends. She has been exposed to children but because she can be puppy exuberant at times, we recommend her for children over 16 years old. Raven has incredible poise for such a young girl. She has great nerves and a solid temperament. Her foster mom cant say enough nice things about her. Raven walks well on a leash and enjoys her daily walks. Raven will need a large secure yard and is not suitable for an apartment. As a trainer said, Raven is a very clever girl and she will need an experience shepherd owner to continue to work on her training. Raven is a great partner for adventures and rides well in the car. Raven is spayed and up to date on vaccines and on monthly preventative. She has gone through heart worm treatment and will be available for adoption in a few weeks. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands. If you believe you could be the right home for Raven, or if you have any questions, please contact Donna at BMSR1313@gmail.com or CLICK HERE to apply.
