My story

Meet Disco!She is a 1.5 year old Pit Bull mix who weighs about 60 pounds. Disco is an energetic lady who loves to play with her toys and is always ready to go on a walk to explore outside. She was initially found running at large and was brought to our shelter in need of some TLC. Due to her past she is a very nervous girl and has to take her time getting to know new people, especially men. After a bit of time, space, and plenty of treats, se is ready to show you what a snuggly girl she is. Staff loves her playful nature, gorgeous coloring, and adventurous spirit. Disco seems upset by other dogs and doesn`t seem to enjoy interacting with them, so she would prefer to be the only dog in her forever home. She is getting more comfortable with dogs on walks, but at home she wants to be the queen of the castle! Disco has been around cats in the past and chased them, so she would likely need a home with no cats as well. Since she is a nervous girl, if there are kids in her forever home she would do best with older teenagers that can give her space while she`s building trust with her new family.
