Meet Bailey! Bailey is an 8-month-old brindle hound mix with the sweetest puppy spirit. She’s playful, adorable, and ready to find a family who can guide her through the fun of growing up with some basic training. This little lady is already off to a fantastic start—she’s crate trained at night (no midnight potty breaks needed!) and does wonderfully when left out of her crate during the day, never getting into trouble. She loves her toys, both soft and hard, and while the soft ones don’t last long, she just enjoys shredding them without swallowing any pieces.Bailey is also a social butterfly—she’s good with other dogs and children, has done well at doggy daycare, and is always happiest when surrounded by friends (two-legged or four!). She does still need a little work on building her confidence in the car, but with patience and encouragement, she’ll get there. And when the day is done, her favorite thing in the world is a good belly rub.Bailey is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, and she’s looking for a family who will give her love, patience, and all the adventures she deserves. Could she be your new best friend? If you would like to meet Bailey, please submit an application for her on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. She is spayed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $300, which covers part of the medical care she has received.**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth. Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bailey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
