My story

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Shorty! Shorty is approximately 6 years old, 10 lbs currently and she may have some Shih-Tzu in her mix! Her owner moved and could not take her with them. She is working hard on his house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, cats, and other dogs. Her foster says, `I have not known Shorty very long, but she quickly warmed up to me and was the sweetest love bug. She was trained on pee pads. Because she just had spay surgery, it seemed safer to keep her in a clean pen with a bed and pee pads. She kept her bed clean and kept her messes to the pads. She is a smart girl and eager to please, so potty training should go well. She is fun, cute, and very affectionate. She will make a great family companion.`She is available for adoption on September 26th in N Dartmouth, MA.
