ALL ABOUT ME Name: Jandi Age: Around 6 months old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: Brown Weight: 9.3kg / 20.5lbs (Still growing!) Microchipped: Yes MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Jandi! My story began on the streets, where my brave mother struggled to survive while caring for me and my siblings. Thankfully, kind rescuers found us and gave us the safety and love we needed. Now, I’m growing up healthy and happy—and I’m ready to find a forever family of my very own! MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues. MY PERSONALITY When you meet me, you’ll be drawn in right away by my soulful deep brown eyes and soft, velvety fur that’s just begging to be petted. I’m a social butterfly who adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Not only am I sweet and friendly, but I’m also a smart girl who loves to learn new things. With my curious spirit and love for treats, I pick up training quickly and am always eager to please. Pair my brains with my big heart, and you’ll see I’m the perfect companion just waiting to brighten your life! MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m a super friendly pup who adores people and loves soaking up affection and attention. Sometimes I can get a little jealous if other dogs are getting all the love—though that might just be the busy shelter environment. Once I’m with my forever family, I know I’ll bond deeply with my person. I’m still young and full of curiosity about the world, and I don’t mind being picked up or held. While I haven’t had much experience with young children yet, my gentle and friendly nature makes me confident I’ll do well with dog-savvy kids. I’m such a sweetheart that I’ll even roll over to show my belly to strangers! Plus, I’m polite with food and never guard it from people. With Dogs: I love meeting new dogs and making friends—playtime is one of my favorite things! I’m friendly and usually get along well, but I don’t always back down if another dog is being pushy. That’s why I do best with supervised introductions when meeting new dogs. Sometimes I can get a little jealous, which may be due to the shelter environment, and for that reason I’d thrive as the only dog in the home. I can be protective of my food and toys around other dogs and may growl to ask for my space, but I’m working hard on learning patience and sharing. The staff say I’m making great progress! They’ve found I do best with lots of praise after meals—once I’m done eating, I happily come over for cuddles and no longer try to sneak other dogs’ food. With Cats: I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet so my reaction is unknown. When I see birds, I try to chase so I’ll do best in a home with no small animals. ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’m a lively pup with plenty of playful puppy energy! I love spending time outdoors, exploring, sniffing, and taking in all the sights and sounds. With enough activity and adventure, I settle in happily indoors, ready to relax by your side. TRAINING & HABITS I’m a bright and eager young pup who usually follows well on leash, though I can pull if something exciting catches my eye. With my food motivation and high focus, I learn quickly and am eager to please, so continued training and guidance will help me grow into a wonderful young lady. I don’t guard my food with people, but I can get protective of my meals and toys around other dogs, and I sometimes get jealous if they’re receiving lots of attention. Because of this, I’ll thrive best as the only dog in the home. I rarely bark and rest calmly in my kennel. Right now, I don’t have separation anxiety, but since I bond deeply and crave affection, I may need support with this once I’m in a forever home. I’m potty trained both indoors and outdoors, but with a consistent walk schedule I prefer to do my business outside. With love, structure, and patience, I’ll continue to make big progress in learning to share and will blossom into the most loyal companion. MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide and let me become my best self. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family who can provide me with a calm, structured, and safe environment. A family who likes to do outdoors activities and spend time together. A family who is willing to shower me with love and affection. A family who understands my love for food and toys and willing to guide me with patience and love so I can learn to be more patient when other dogs are around. A family who understands that I’m still a young pup and curious about the world and have lots to learn. Ideally the only dog in the household. SPECIAL NOTES Staff members were so proud of me during my profile photoshoot—they said I did amazing! I played happily with my dog friends and even shared treats. While I can sometimes be protective of my resources, the staff strongly believe this comes from the competitive shelter environment. At heart, I’m a super friendly pup who generally gets along well with other dogs. I know the right family is out there for me and I can’t wait to go on adventures together!
