My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Namu Age: 6 months old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: White Weight: 11.2kg / 25lbs (Still growing!) Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Namu. My story began on the streets, where my brave mother struggled to survive while caring for me and my siblings. Thankfully, kind rescuers found us and gave us the safety and love we needed. Now, I’m growing up healthy and happy—and I’m ready to find a forever family of my very own!   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY When you meet me, the first thing you’ll notice is my soft white fur and sparkling dark brown eyes that shine with curiosity. I’m not just cute—I’m super adorable and full of personality! I have a goofy, playful side that’s sure to bring a smile to your face and fill your days with laughter.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I can be just a tiny bit shy at first, but deep down I crave people’s attention and love receiving pets. I’ll often walk right up to strangers to ask for affection, and with a gentle greeting, I warm up quickly. I’ll even take treats softly from your hand and sometimes roll over to show my belly—it’s my way of saying I trust you! While I haven’t met many kids yet, my gentle and friendly nature makes me confident I’ll do well with thoughtful introductions. One thing to know about me is that I’m not a fan of being picked up, so I’ll need some patient desensitization training and a strong bond with my person before I feel comfortable with that.   With Dogs:  I love meeting new dogs and enjoy playtime with my friends, especially those close to my size. I generally get along well with most dogs, though I don’t always tolerate pushy or rude behavior and will stand my ground if needed. With a little supervision during first introductions, I’m a great companion for doggy playdates!   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, so my reaction is still unknown. I do love to chase birds when I spot them, so I’ll do best in a home without small animals.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’m a high-energy pup who loves to explore, stay active, and take in everything around me. I sometimes struggle to settle right away and can be a little hyperaware of my surroundings, but once I’ve had the chance to release my energy, I relax much more easily.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m a young pup who’s eager to learn and bond with my person. I usually follow my handler’s lead well, though I can pull if I’m excited to head in a certain direction. Right now, I don’t show much separation anxiety, but since I form close bonds, I may need some support with this in the future. I’m still learning to rest calmly in my kennel and might whine a little at first, but I settle with time. I’m potty trained both indoors and outdoors, and with a consistent routine, I’ll happily prefer outdoor potty breaks. When meeting new people, I get so excited that I sometimes pee from all the emotions—but as I grow older, I’ll likely grow out of this puppy habit. I do best with guidance to help manage my energetic nature, but I’m generally quiet and love playing nicely with my dog friends.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A loving family who understands I’m a young pup and will need continued guidance and structure so I can grow in a distinguished gentleman.    SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff always praise me for being such a gentle, sweet boy. I absolutely adore people and can never get enough of their love and attention. Once I bond with you, I’ll stick by your side through thick and thin—following you from room to room like your loyal little shadow, always ready to offer companionship and affection. With me around, you’ll never feel alone!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Namu’s YouTube Playlist ##2516601##
