Torr A17774373 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -Gorgeous gal with very unique coloring!-Out in the yard she enjoyed wandering and sniffing-She started running and chasing me around but didn’t engage in toy play-She sits for snacks and takes them nicely but didn’t eat any initially. Once she was comfortable she did eat a few.-She ducks slightly when you go up over her head. She can be timid at times. She just needs some time and patience. -She pulls quite a bit on walks but is better with a harness-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Torr, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
