My story

Mr. Lucky is a handsome, soft-furred gentleman with a story as special as his name. Abandoned during Covid, he found his way into our neighborhood and chose us as his new family. The children in my in-home childcare gave him his fitting name, “Mr. Lucky,” and he’s been a beloved companion ever since. Mr. Lucky has a wonderful daily rhythm: he enjoys a short morning walk on his leash, followed by a hearty breakfast, playtime, and then a well-deserved nap in a sunny spot. Later in the day, you’ll find him perched in the window keeping an eye on the world outside or happily batting around his favorite toy springs. Evenings bring more playtime before dinner and cuddles—when he decides it’s time. He has lived for the past four years in a home full of children and is very comfortable around kids of all ages. That said, he prefers to be the only pet in the household, as he can be timid around other animals. Mr. Lucky is a true “choose-your-moments” kind of cat—sometimes independent, sometimes playful, always affectionate on his own terms. Health & Care: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Diagnosed with FIV about a year ago but remains very healthy and requires no medication. Eats urinary-tract health food (currently Iams brand, non-prescription) as recommended by his vet to prevent crystals. Mr. Lucky will thrive as an indoor-only cat in a loving, single-pet home where he can continue his routine of leash walks, window watching, and toy spring adventures. FIV cats need to be indoors and can live with other non-agressive cats. He’s looking for someone special to give him the safe, cozy forever home he deserves.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 10, 2025, 6:00 pm
