My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $800   The Angel Soft Puppies – A Litter of Maltipoo Sweethearts       Born in our rescue on July 14, 2025, to their devoted mama Angel Soft, this darling Maltipoo litter is now 8 weeks old and is every bit as sweet and snuggly as their name suggests. At just 2–4 lbs now, they’re expected to remain small when grown—tiny companions with big hearts.       The whole litter has a gentle, mellow temperament. They rarely bark except for a few playful yips, and they’ve been thoughtfully socialized with older children, big dogs, small dogs, and even cats. Their wavy, fluffy coats are thicker than their mama’s, so regular grooming will be important to keep them comfortable and looking their best.       Because these pups are so small— especially the tiny tri-color sisters—we recommend homes with older children if there are kids in the family. They’re just too delicate to risk being stepped on or dropped by little ones.       Their foster family has already given them a structured routine: breakfast around 7 AM (wet food with a little kibble), potty and play outside, and then back to their pen for rest. They enjoy an afternoon play session and snack between 11 and 1, then dinner around 5 PM. At night, they sleep together in their whelping box in their foster’s office, snuggled in a warm puppy pile.       Meet the Puppies       Scottie: The largest of the bunch and likely to grow a bit bigger than mama. Scottie is a big softie— he loves to be held and will happily nap in your lap. When playtime comes, he surprises everyone with his speed!       Charmin: Mama’s little twin! Charmin is a sweet girl who craves attention and will “ask” for extra snuggles with her adorable little puppy noises.       Cottonelle “Nellie”: The bigger of the two tri-colored pups, Nellie has a goofy side. She can be a little feisty in play but is just as loving as her siblings when playtime winds down.       Quilted Northern “Baby Q”: The tiniest of the litter, Baby Q is petite but mighty! She keeps up with her bigger littermates without missing a beat, proving that size doesn’t hold her back one bit.       These little fluffballs are ready to bring joy, softness, and love to their forever families. Could one of them be the perfect fit for you?September 10, 2025, 11:45 am
