My story

Sam came to us alongside his buddy Jake, and we believe both boys previously lived as Amish dogs. Because of that, Sam hasn’t had much experience with the world outside of what he’s always known.Sam is a sweet and gentle soul, but meeting new people can feel a little scary for him at first. He takes some time to warm up, but once he feels safe, his happy personality starts to shine through—just look at that big smile!What Sam Needs:• A patient, understanding owner willing to give him the time he needs to adjust• A calm and stable home where he can feel secure• Someone who will show him what love and family are all aboutAt just 2 years old, Sam has his whole life ahead of him, and we know with the right person by his side, he’ll blossom into the loyal, loving companion he’s meant to be.
