Meet Webber: Your Loyal Adventure Buddy with a Soft Spot for Fireplaces Webber is a 4.5-year-old male with a heart full of love and a serious fetch addiction. Originally found as a stray in Eastern Washington, he’s had a taste of family life—and while his previous home loved him, they couldn’t keep him. Now he’s looking for a forever family who truly gets him. Webber thrives on movement. Long walks? Yes please. Hiking trails? Even better. He’s agile enough for the tough ones and would love an active adopter who enjoys the outdoors. His favorite game is fetch, and he’ll play until he’s blissfully worn out. But when it’s time to rest, Webber is all about comfort—especially in front of a cozy fireplace. He’s had some great training: Webber knows how to sit, wait, “drop it” and “leave it” (great with kids' toys!), and “go in” to his kennel. He’s highly responsive to praise—more than treats—and beams when he hears he’s a good boy. He does well with most other dogs and can coexist peacefully with the right canine companions. Webber has a protective side and bonds deeply with his core humans. While he’s done well with the children in his previous home, he can be nervous around guests and prefers women over men. His ideal home is quiet, with few visitors and no kids—just a steady routine and a loving adult or two who understand him.
