My story

IDGSR Welcomes DONIKA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Donika and I'm a fun loving 3-4 month old Lab mix. I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 3-4 months old Kids - will do fine with kids Dogs - good with other dogs Cats - will do okay with cats with training Training - needs full obedience training 1. My sister & I were dumped on a dirt road all alone. Thanks to some nice folks, we made it into a safe foster home while we wait to be adopted! 2. I'm learning all sorts of puppy things. I'm doing well with crate training and slowly getting the hang of potty training. I'm just a baby so this stuff takes time! 3. I'm a little cautious of new people or kiddos but with patience & yummy treats, I'll warm up to you and smother you with kisses! 4. When I'm a little bigger, will you paw-promise to train me in full obedience? I'm talking the works: sit, stay, come, down, leash walking, place, leave it, & pretty much anything else you can teach me. 5. I'd love to check out some walking or hiking trails, go apple picking, get the perfect pumpkin for halloween, have my 1st pup-cup, and do all of the fun outdoor fall things as long as I'm with you! 6. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
