My story

Meet PJ – A Sweet Pup with a Bright Future PJ is a 1-year-old Shih Tzu with a loving, playful personality. He enjoys walks, playtime, and most of all, being close to his people. He’s the kind of pup who will happily follow you around the house and then curl up in your lap when it’s time to relax. PJ was born with a condition called a dermoid, which means a small patch of skin developed in an abnormal location on his eye. This can cause irritation or affect his vision if not addressed. The recommended treatment is surgical removal, which is considered the standard of care. Once removed, dermoids usually do not return, and PJ is expected to live a happy, normal life. A surgical consult has already been completed with a veterinary specialist, and his adopter will be required to continue with this same veterinarian for the procedure. This ensures PJ receives consistent, expert care. Proof of the scheduled surgery will be required before his adoption can be finalized. PJ is a truly wonderful little dog who just needs the right family to give him the care he needs and the love he deserves. In return, he’ll bring endless joy, snuggles, and devotion to your life.
