My story

Meet Nella! This young adult Plott Hound is a sensitive and shy girl who needs a patient, calm, and understanding family to help her feel safe. Nella may take some time to warm up to new people, so she would do best in a home without young children and with adopters who are willing to go at her pace. With slow, thoughtful introductions, Nella may get along with other dogs, but her main priority is having a safe, predictable environment where she can build confidence and trust. Once she feels secure, Nella has the potential to be a loyal, loving companion who will shower her family with affection in her own gentle way. This sweet girl is looking for someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she deserves — a quiet, steady home could be exactly what she’s been waiting for. Dog meets are done Mon-Sat 12pm-3pm.
