Enoki

My story

Meet Enoki! She came to Toronto Cat Rescue with her siblings after being found as young feral kittens, and she’s still learning that people can be trusted. Right now, she’s quite shy and prefers to keep her distance—she’s not aggressive at all, just very cautious and unsure about this whole “human affection” thing. With time, patience, and gentle guidance, she has the potential to grow into a confident and loving cat. She’s got that classic “spicy kitten” charm—hissy when unsure, quick to hide, but secretly curious about the world around her. And when she thinks no one's watching? She’s busy doing all the adorable kitten things: chasing her siblings, wrestling, and birdwatching with intense focus. She absolutely loves snuggling up with her littermates for cozy naps and finds comfort in the company of other cats. Enoki would do best in a calm, patient home—ideally with another cat who can help show her the ropes and continue her journey toward becoming a fully socialized companion. If you have a soft spot for shy cats and enjoy the rewarding experience of earning their trust, Enoki could be the perfect little project and lifelong friend. She may be tiny, but her potential is huge.
