My story

Meet Pete, the most fluffy and friendly Flat-Coated Retriever mix. Sweet Pete is sure to make your heart skip a beat!  Pete is the sweetest boy who will immediately roll over for a belly rub when he meets you. He loves attention and would be more than happy to spend his days cuddling on the couch.  Pete is confident, athletic, smart and very loyal. Pete will jump a baby gate to be near his person. He likes to follow his foster mom everywhere she goes. Pete is a great listener and knows many commands.  Pete is approximately 4 years old, and his energy level is moderate. He’s fully grown at just under 60 lbs. Pete is crate trained, potty trained and an overall good boy with an adventurous spirit. He likes going for walks and enjoys riding in the car.  Pete loves to play with other dogs and would do well having a doggy sibling to spend his days with. But he’d also be fine being an only dog where he could get all the belly rubs! Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
