My story

Soot is a sweet and quiet girl who’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and take her time to settle in. She can be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, her gentle nature begins to shine through. Soot enjoys her own space and loves spending time people-watching from a cozy perch. She’s a big fan of napping in warm spots and playing with her favorite toys when the mood strikes. Once she feels comfortable around you, Soot starts to seek out soft, gentle pets — and it’s in those quiet moments that her true sweetness comes out. She would do best in a peaceful home with someone who understands that building trust takes time. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
