My story

💕Meet Dixie This sweet girl is Dixie. She had a home where she was loved and adored for the past six years but sadly, her Dad passed away and Dixie lost her family and her security. Luckily, an amazing foster stepped up and committed to help us find her a new forever family. Dixie is a gem, she is crate and house trained but is so well behaved that she does not use a crate at her foster home. Dixie is good with everyone she meets including other dogs. She is very into personal hygiene and likes to sneak in the shower with her foster mom and then admire herself in the mirror while waiting to be brushed 🤣 While Dixie enjoys a afternoon of sunning on the porch or a nice leisurely walk, her favorite activity is napping on the sofa or dog bed and watch tv or the world outside. She wants to be wherever her person is but she is not pushy or demanding, just content to know they are near. Dixie is looking for a home where she can be someone’s best buddy, so if your looking for that pretty perfect dog to share you life with, check out Dixie. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
