My story

Colin Feral is the rugged, no-nonsense barn cat you didn’t know you needed. With piercing yellow eyes, a weathered tabby coat, and a swagger that says “I own this place”, Colin is a seasoned mouser and the undisputed king of the hayloft. He’s fiercely independent, but will grace you with his presence if you come bearing tuna—or at least a little respect.Despite his feral roots, Colin has a mysterious charm that wins over even the most skeptical farmhands. You’ll rarely catch him indoors (unless it’s winter), but he patrols the property with quiet confidence, keeping pests in check and pretending he doesn’t secretly enjoy a good chin scratch now and then.Colin Feral: part guardian, part ghost, all attitude.For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
