My story

Mandy, Mitzy, Sandy and Audrey are our 4 gorgeous female Havanese mix puppies! Born on May 29th, these girls were born to a Havanese/Bichon/Poodle mix dad and a small terrier mix mom. The owner to the parents of these puppies’ lives in Kerrville, Texas – they had plans for family and friends to take the puppies but on July 4th, Kerrville and surrounding towns were hit by a fast-rising river, and a national disaster was declared. The owner of the parents was one affected. Approximately 135 people died from the floods, but thousands were without homes, power, and necessities to survive. The owner reached out for help, and we immediately stepped in to give assistance. These babies are now safe in a foster home and thriving. They are so sweet, and so curious. As of 9/7 these puppies are about 6-7 lbs, but we don’t believe they will get over 12-15 lbs when full grown. Based on their parents, and the baths and brushings they have had, we believe these girls would be considered hypoallergenic as they do not shed. They are SOOO soft. They may require regular grooming, so please consider that when applying to adopt. Since these girls have been raised in a home and handled since they were born, they are well socialized and friendly. At first, they can be a little unsure, but after just a few hours, they come around quickly and want to be your best friends. Previously they were fostered in a home with cats, dogs, kids and chickens and the puppies had 0 interest in the cats or chickens and loved the kids and dogs! Currently, they are fostered with dogs, cats and older kids, and they are having the time of their life. They are learning what house training is and slowly catching on! These puppies are quite smart though, so with proper training and more one on one (trying to house train 4 puppies can be a lot!), we know they will master house training in no time. They would thrive in almost all types of homes; super crazy or super busy homes may not be the best since they can be a little timid at first. But don’t let that fool you, these girls will get zoomies around the house and try to chase you to get you to pay attention to them. They love attention and they enjoy being next to their people. These girls love to play and love their toys.
