My story

Hi there! My name is Sena 🐾 Retriever–Jindo Mix | Female | 8 Months Old | I might be small in size, but my heart is huge! I’m an 8-month-old Retriever and Jindo mix with a bouncy, cheerful personality, a love for cuddles, and a smile that shines brightest when I’m playing with new friends—both furry and human! My start in life wasn’t easy. I was once at risk of being sold to a dog meat farm... but thankfully, I was rescued just in time, along with my mom and siblings. Because of that, every day feels like a gift—and I never take love or safety for granted. I love people and get along well with other dogs too! I haven't lived in a home yet, so I’m still learning things like being alone and where to go potty. Right now, I might feel anxious when left by myself, and I’ll need help with housetraining—but here’s the good news: I’m young, smart, and super treat-motivated! With a little consistency and a lot of love, I’ll pick things up quickly. My favorite thing in the world? Feeling connected to you. I enjoy zoomies and playtime with my doggy buddies, but the best part of my day is being loved. I might be a little shy at first if I’m separated from my mom and siblings, but please be patient with me. I promise—once I feel safe, I’ll come closer on my own and become your most loyal little shadow. I’m ready to grow, learn, and love with my forever family.
