My story

Roo is a spirited and loving 13-year-old senior with a heart as big as her personality. Weighing just 11 pounds, this sweet girl may hop along on three legs due to an old patella injury, but she’s completely unphased—staying active, playful, using stairs easily. and full of life. Roo delights in the company of other small dogs and loves to join in on gentle play, but she’s just as content cuddled up next to you. She’s housebroken, crate trained at night, responds to encouragement, and communicates with quiet clarity when she’s hungry or needs to go outside. Roo forms deep bonds with her people and is happiest when she can simply be near you—whether in the same room as you work, in gentle play, or just resting by your side. Healthy, affectionate, and endlessly resilient, Roo is a shining example of how senior dogs still have so much love and joy to give.
