My story

Lula girl is a 10-week-old, 15 lb black lab mix that was found on the streets of south Texas. The foster describes her as one of the best puppies ever to have fostered. A good Samaritan who had previously fostered for us found her in a trailer park just sitting there on the outskirts of it, skin and bones. You could count her ribs. The good Samaritans husband saw her, picked her up and went all around the trailer park, nobody claimed her. He couldn’t leave her, so he took her home. After attempts to try to find her home, nobody stepped forward. Which, based on how hungry she was and her flea infestation, we are so happy nobody came forward. The good Samaritan then reached out to us, and we immediately had them take her to the vet. We believe Lula will stay around 50-55 lbs once full grown Lula is being fostered with multiple other dogs and cats, and the foster said this: She is a little energizer bunny and loves to play. She absolutely loves my other dogs and gets along great with all of them. Lula tries to play with my cat, and my cat doesn’t understand why, since my other dogs don’t. But she LOVES my cat and would be one that would cuddle with a cat if the cat allowed her. Lula does great with car rides and has no motion sickness issues. She enjoyed even going to the vet! When we were there, she fell asleep in my arms. When the vet techs started working on her, she woke right up and was instantly wagging her tail and wanting to give them kisses. She is doing great with potty and house training and having no issues! Lula is a snuggler ALL the time but especially when it’s bedtime. She wants to get right next to you under the covers. She has no accidents in bed either! When we were at the vet, she kept falling asleep in my arms and on the exam table. She just melts right into you, and is absolute jello. It’s the most adorable thing. She is a shadower. She wants to follow to everywhere and anywhere. Lula will be your most loyal sidekick and your best friend. Anything that involves being around her people, she is in pure bliss. Lula has had multiple baths and is learning that water is fun and enjoyable Lula enjoys water and would love to be in a home where she can go on adventures to lakes/ocean/rivers/pools. She is learning wearing a harness means walking and outgoings and is loving it! She is still learning what a leash is. Lulas favorite toy is a tennis ball (or multiple) and her favorite treats are milk bones. Lula is VERY toy and food motivated. There is no wrong anyone can do with Lula, she will love anyone, anything and everyone she meets.
