SEPTEMBER 2025 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. VIOLET VAN HELSING, her moms (SCARETT and VANESSA VAN HELSING) and her siblings (AXEL MILLER and JACK & DYLAN VAN HELSING) were saved by the Rescue Mama. So one day while on Facebook, Rescue Mama saw that there were 2 very young cats living in a back yard. Long story short, we rescued the girls and right before their vet appointment they had kittens. We are not sure which kittens belong to which mom because they were born in the middle of the night and both sisters nursed them. So now the babies are fully vetted and ready for their FUREVER homes. Meet VIOLET VAN HELSING! If you're looking for a lap cat, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend all in one, look no further than VIOLET VAN HELSING. This gentle and sensitive girl is the most snuggly of her group, and she's ready to lavish her endless affection on a devoted human. All she wants is to be as close to you as possible, whether she's nuzzled against your neck at night or stretched out beside you in bed with her soft belly exposed for rubs. Her capacity for love is immense, and she connects quickly and deeply with people. VIOLET VAN HELSING's love language is physical affection. You'll hear her signature, rumbling purr the moment your eyes meet, and she'll rub all over you with loving headbutts and gentle pawing to ask for more pets. When she's overcome with joy, she might even greet you by climbing your jeans to get into your arms for a happy hug. This little shadow will follow you everywhere, always keeping a watchful eye on you from wherever she is in the room. She even has a special, charming habit of perching on your shoulder or back while you're busy with chores like scooping the litter box. Despite her affectionate nature, VIOLET VAN HELSING is a gentle soul who is a little wary of new noises and animals. She gets intimidated by strong or dominant cat personalities, so she would do best in a calm home environment where she can be the center of her human's attention. She may need a bit of time to relax and feel safe in a new space, but once she does, her loving and playful personality will shine through. VIOLET VAN HELSING enjoys a good play session, whether she's chasing after crinkle balls or tackling a wand toy. VIOLET VAN HELSING isn't just looking for a home; she's looking for her human. She's a sweet, gentle spirit who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and an abundance of hugs and cuddles. Her love is a gift, and for the right person, it's a gift that will keep on giving. VIOLET VAN HELSING is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / MACKEREL TABBY MIX. She is about 5 months old. She is good with cats, children and dogs. JACK VAN HELSING is currently at a foster home in North Hollywood, California. ******We do not do adoptions of any kitten under 8 months, if there is no other cat in the home. It must be a young cat. Not a senior cat ****** ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. +++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++ PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. VIOLET VAN HELSING is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
