My story

Beautiful, calm, sweet Donna came to us as a newly pregnant refugee from the 2025 floods. She lovingly raised her own six babies along with an orphan she took in. They’ve all gone off to their forever homes and now it’s Donna’s turn to find her own loving forever home. Donna is a beautiful, affectionate sweetheart who loves human company! She’s friendly, calm, and a good sport about everything. She’s still young, and now that she has more energy to play, her playful side is emerging. She loves chirpy string toys and cardboard scratchers. She plays enthusiastically, yet gently. Donna has not met her foster’s own cats, but she is aware of their presence and does not seem bothered by them. We think she might be fine with another cat-friendly cat if given a proper introduction. Donna would thrive in a calmer home where she is given time to fully blossom into her true self. She would do well with one or two adults and cat-savvy kids. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip.
