My story

Lassie is one of the pups from the 11 rescued in a heartbreaking hoarding case who is now ready for adoption!Lassie is a 5-year-old, 8 lb spunky cuddle bug with a side of sass. She’s shy and fearful of new things, but she’s also incredibly smart and learns fast. Her favorite hobbies? Following her person around for chin scratches, zoomies before dinner, peaceful car rides, and curling up on the couch for snuggles. 🤭She was easy to potty train on pee pads, and while she’s still nervous outside, she’s working on leash skills. Lassie does best with calm dogs (loud barkers are “scary!”), and when spooked, she prefers to be scooped up out of “danger.” 🐾 She’s very food motivated, which makes training easier, and her love language is definitely touch + words of affirmation.Her silly, sassy personality shines through in little grunts when you stop petting her or dare ignore her. She’s curious, high energy at times, but also loves power naps by your side. A fenced yard would be best since she’s a tiny explorer determined to check every crevice.Lassie needs a patient, loving home that can help her build confidence, keep her active, and continue her training.
