My story

Meet Shakira – Tiny but Mighty   Shakira is a 2-month-old puppy, weighing in at about 10 lbs of pure sweetness. This little girl has already been through so much in her short life.   She and her sibling were found living outside in a crate in South Carolina. Their former owner, who was squatting in a rural area, refused to bring them inside, leaving them exposed and at risk. Thankfully, our amazing partner rescue stepped in, and now Shakira is safe with us and ready for her second chance.   Despite her rough start, Shakira is all puppy – curious, playful, and full of love. She’s looking for a family who will give her the safe, warm, and loving home she deserves. Just as any puppy, she is still learning and will need an adopter who is will be patient and willing to continue training her in all puppy aspects of life.    With her bright eyes and sweet personality, Shakira is ready to dance her way right into your heart.
