My story

Meet Tucker! Tucker’s journey brought him to us after he was left at the back door of Greystone Vet with a note that read: “This is Tucker, he’s 12 years old and needs to be the only pet.” Despite the rough way his story took a turn, Tucker is now safe in rescue and ready to find the loving forever home he truly deserves. At 12 years old, Tucker is a senior gentleman who is FIV+—but don’t let that scare you! FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, happy lives with proper care. Tucker is a laid-back boy who loves a calm, relaxed environment where he can lounge and enjoy the quiet. He’s also very vocal and loves to chat with his human, making him a wonderful companion. Even though he’s more relaxed these days, Tucker still enjoys his adventurous moments and absolutely loves a good scratching post to keep him happy and content. Tucker would do best as the only pet, just as his note suggested, so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He’s ready to spend his golden years with someone who will cherish him, spoil him, and enjoy his company (and his conversations!).
